This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from Positive Inspirations.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information we collect may include: Your medical history, your personal information including your birth date, and contact details. These details are collected during the process of completing the initial intake forms and also during each consequent 1:1 consultation.

This information is collected and is necessary to establish the state of your health, which provides me with the adequate information to best provide you with the holistic healing services offered.

We collect this information to best understand the most appropriate holistic healing services that most appropriately addresses your reason for treatment. This information gathering also advises Lisa on any contraindications for any treatments of services provided.

INFORMATION COLLECTION FROM MINORS

Sensitive information may be collected from children under the age of 18 under the following circumstances:

  • In the presence of their parents

  • with their parent or guardian’s full consent


HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

  • Communicate with you; 

  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We understand that some personal information is particularly sensitive. We will only collect sensitive information by methods that are reasonably secure, and necessary. The reason why we collect this sensitive information is to appropriately provide you with the services you have contracted for.

Practitioners are subject to the following regulations regarding the collection of personal information, with a duty of confidentiality. You may choose not to provide us with your personal information. However, if you choose not to be completely honest with us, we may not be able to provide you with the services that you request. We are legally required to identify clients by collecting their name and address, and failure to provide this information means we cannot offer our services to you.

HOW YOUR INFORMATION STORED

We are committed to securely storing and handling your sensitive information. All sensitive information is stored on a password-protected computer. We take reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.

This information will be accessed by Lisa for continual care each time you visit. This information is highly secured by two authentication settings and only accessed by Lisa Rudd – The treating practitioner.

SECURITY

We manage risks to your personal information by:

  • storing files securely

  • ensuring that only/key personnel have access to sensitive information

  • releasing information to service providers on a strictly need-to-know basis and conducting regular audits of our security systems.

DESTRUCTION POLICY: 

We keep all of your archived material for at least 7 years, thereafter that they are either fully secured in archived or destroyed.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

​

We understand situations sometimes change and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Please be mindful that we require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointments.

A cancellation fee applies where less than 24 hours notice is given to cancel or reschedule an appointment, or if you miss your appointment.

​

If you do need to make changes to your appointment, please make sure to give as much notice as possible.

​

Less than 24 hours notice, 50% fee will be charged and missed or forgotten appointments (without notice) will be charged in FULL.

No refunds or exchange for purchased tickets to Meditation Classes, or Events. However, if Lisa needs to cancel or change her classes, events or appointments you will be offered the chance to attend the rescheduled date, or a refund if you can’t make it.
