Service Description

Session pricing 1 hour $120 / 1.5 hours $180 Meditation Therapy is a Holistic approach to counselling that is tailored to the individual and paired with Meditation, helping individuals to heal by taking the entire human being and their life experiences into consideration for assessment and treatment purposes, considering not only the mind but also the body and spirit as a whole. How is this different to traditional counselling services? Traditional counselling methods consider the psychological ramifications of issues and behaviours whereas holistic counselling focuses on the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit to help facilitate wellness. Rather than just treating the symptoms a holistic counsellor uses mindfulness to help develop self-awareness and self-acceptance to help manage underlying causes of stress and blockages stopping an individual moving forward. Please Note: Under the current system, GP Mental Health Plans are not valid for use with the Holistic services we offer. This means you do not require a doctor’s referral. These sessions are not covered under Private Health Insurance either. Due to this, my fee structure is highly compatible with the average Medicare gap fees for Clinical Psychologists. (The difference payable by you between what a provider charges and what Medicare covers) WHAT TO WEAR: Anything Comfortable WHAT TO BRING: A Water bottle LOCATION: This first time finding us can be a little tricky. Positive Inspirations is located inside of Macarthur Tyre Service (weird, but it works) Located on the corner of Mitchell St & Elizabeth St Camden. There is street parking available on either street. Entry is via Macarthur Tyre Services street entry on Elizabeth St. Once you walk through the door, my studio is straight to the left. CANCELLATION POLICY: We understand that things can pop up unexpectedly and we will do our best to accommodate you however as a small business, please understand that we need to have the following cancellation policy in place. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appt a 50% Cancelation fee will apply. If you cancel within 1 hour of your appointment or fail to show the full fee will apply.
